Hon. Okute condemns police execution of his constituents.

Police brutality is under the spotlight yet again after yesterday’s event when they killed two people and many injured at Pala Market, Karachuonyo Constituency in Homa bay County.

A middle aged man who died on the spot was fatally shot while on his motorbike.

Hon. Okute who vied in last poll while talking to a local radio station reaffirmed NRM statement that acting Interior coordination C.S Fred Matiang’i and Police I.G Boinnet should be held responsible for the killings in Nyanza and maintained that if police continue with the outlawed inhuman brutality, he and like minded leaders won’t sit back and watch their constituents suffering in the hands of rogue officers.

Mheshimiwa Okute was quoted,

“I will do all it takes to protect my People, Raila’s course is a justified one; one that has right and truth on its side. All we are seeking is electoral reforms and an inclusive leadership and nothing will stop our people.”

And further added,

“Those being sent to carry out these heinous acts are goons and rogue state hired machineries on a twisted and vengeful mission to kill those who said NO to a sham election and in the end it will bounce back to them, and they will pay.”

Hon.Okute confirmed that he will soon be home to visit the victims of police brutality and share comfort with their grieving families.

Summing up his statement, he called upon his Constituents to stay away from polling centers whichever time IEBC will bring election materials.

“We’ll all stay away from the evil polling stations that they are forcing us to be in. We know our rights and voting cannot be forced to a people who choose not to vote because LUO LIVES MATTER.”
