Uhuru’s last appeal to the LUO community .
President Uhuru’s jubilee side has yet again made a frantic effort to the luo community amidst rising political tensions that could lead to an election boycott and even, a caretaker government or secession of the larger western Kenya.
“We are one people, let us play cool politics of brotherhood. Jaramogi is one of the pioneers of this country’s independence and stability and even in his grave, he wouldn’t wish go hear that Kenya is divided.
Raila is a respected leader in this country who we have lived with in peace and love, let’s us work together.
Let us stop these demonstrations and this story of secession like South Sudan. Their country has not been together ever since.
Breaking water pipes and efficiently looting supermarkets just hurts us economically (those demonstrating) and not anyone else.
How will Kenya survive if all the professors and legal minds break away?
Jameni, nawaomba kwa ungwana na heshima kubwa, tufanye kazi pamoja.”
The delegation, led by Jubilee spokesman Raphael Tuju and a host of gubernatorial runner’s up from luo nyanza, promised to preach the good gospel of Uhuru’s candidature to the entire lake region and ensure that NASA demonstrations are boycotted.
“We must build Kenya and luoland must be prioritized this time round. Demonstrations and secession calls won’t help us, let us join the winning team before it is too late. We have been used for long”
One of the attendees, a one Mr. Joseph Oyugi from Homabay County emphasized.
Will these calls pay off?
