Nyanza leaders have come out to demand the whereabouts of Army spokesman Joseph Owuoth even as word goes around that Owuoth is alive.
Kisumu ODM gubernatorial candidate Prof. Anyang Nyong’o says Owuoth who made an announcement confirming NASA’s allegations last week has been missing.
Nyong’o says the family of Owuoth residing in Koru, Muhoroni constituency are worried since they lost contact with him yesterday.
He says the Army must come out and clear the air on the whereabouts of Owuoth.
Senatorial candidate for Kisumu County Fred Outa says the killing of IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando and the missing of Owuoth are planned to instill fear among Kenyans.
Outa appealed to the people of Nyanza to remain calm and not to protest as that will put them on collision with the police and may result into more deaths.
Leaders who addressed the press included Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang, Homa Bay women representative Gladys Wanga, nominated MP Oburu Odinga and Nyakach MP Aduma Owuor.
